いよいよ本日から、日本イタリア国交150周年記念事業「風の行方」がペルージャで始まりました。皮切りは、由緒あるアルテミシア画廊でのグループ展です

（６月１０日まで）。これは、６人の日本人作家による現代美術展で、テーマは「不均整」。

 

この日、午後６時から同画廊で盛大なオープニングセレモニーが行われました。まずはイタリアで活躍中の日本人ヴァイオリニスト、大西梓によるヴァイオリン演奏で幕を開けた後、この日に合わせて日本やミラノなどから駆けつけたそれぞれの作家がスピーチを行いました。画廊は大勢の参加者であふれ、大盛況でした。

To celebrate 150 years of diplomatic relations between Italy and Japan, we organized a series of three artistic events, including art, music, and film.  It call the celebration” Kaze no yukue”:”Where the wind blows” The celebration started today and is ongoing.

It runs from May 20, 2016 through June 10,2016.

 

To launch the celebration, we started (today on May 20,2016) with

The first event by opening an exhibit at the Artemisia Gallery.

The theme of the exhibit” Variations on the theme of asymmetry”

Features six Japanese artists.

It was a great opening party was hold from 6 p.m.  Azusa Onish, the Japanese violinist, performed. She lives in Perugia. Each of the artists made a speech, who came from Japan and Milan. There were a lot of people in the Gallery. and  It was a huge success.
